Irene Ang – Senior Instructor
Accredited by the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) as a National Certified Pilates Teacher, Irene has 10 years of teaching experience at various studios, at home, and house visits. Irene attained her Masters of Social Science (Professional Counselling) from the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. Subsequently, Irene turned to Pilates to ease the emotional and mental stresses of her job. With a mission to improve her own body condition, she pursued her journey as a Pilates instructor.
She spent three years training full-time at Pilates Bodyworks to attain her certification as a mat and reformer instructor. During that period, Irene also attended workshops by the University of Melbourne’s Associate Professor Amir Takla, and Alan Herdman, the Chair of the PMA’s UK Chapter. She also has a Diploma in Swedish Massage and Aromatherapy, and Basic Sports massage, as well as an Anatomy and Physiology certificate with Pilates ITC.
Irene’s demure, approachable persona and experience with various clients allows her to connect with her clients and work together with them to improve their health.
